How do I apply to EACPA for the Fall 2026 cohort?

Email enroll@eacpa.academy to start. Cohort 01 opens Fall 2026, with 42 seats across grades 9 to 12.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with priority given by submission date. Three hundred forty-five families are currently on the waitlist as of May 2026. Tuition is $35,000 a year, horse care included.

Where exactly is the campus?

Penn Valley, California 95946, in Nevada County, roughly two hours northeast of the San Francisco Bay Area. The 37.9-acre campus is adjacent to a working 140-by-280-foot covered equestrian arena.

Can I tour the campus before applying?

Virtual tours run by appointment Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 3 PM. Book directly with Founder Laura Bruner here, or email info@eacpa.academy.

How can I donate or set up a naming gift?

EACPA is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation with full 501(c)(3) federal recognition (EIN 39-2918392). All gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

What does the $35,000 tuition include?

Academics across five professional tracks (twenty-seven certified courses, UC a-g aligned), WASC-accredited high school curriculum, mounted instruction five days a week, full horse care, equine-assisted wellness curriculum, industry credentialing (USEF, USHJA, ARIA, RACE, NAVTA, AVMA shadowing logs), UC a-g portfolio support, and college counseling.

Is EACPA a day school or boarding?

Cohort 01 is a day program. We serve families within commuting distance of Penn Valley, California. If your family situation is unusual, email enroll@eacpa.academy and we'll be straightforward about whether we can serve you well in the founding cohort.

How fast will I hear back?

Most inquiries receive a response within 5 business days. Admissions and donor inquiries are answered by Founder Laura Bruner directly. Virtual tour requests are typically scheduled within two weeks.

Does the school offer financial aid?

We will have a scholarship program available in the near future. It will be need-based aid. Contact enroll@eacpa.academy to discuss aid alongside your application.
